This concert which is devoted to treble voice ensembles and choral repertoire, celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Memphis Women’s Chorale, one of the four choral ensembles in Memphis ChoralArts and the only adult community music ensemble in Western TN that is devoted to the performance of treble-voice choral literature (soprano and alto parts only).

In honor of MWC’s 10th anniversary, we will commission female composer, Jocelyn Hagen to compose a treble-voice piece that will be premiered in the concert.

Spring 2024 Concert: Cheer The Weary Traveler

In April 2024, Memphis ChoralArts, in collaboration with Alpha Omega Veterans Services will present our final concert of the season, “Cheer the Weary Traveler”. This concert will focus on the difficulties our veterans face, especially when returning from combat and reentering society. Our concert will highlight the important work Alpha Omega does for our community, especially their focus on using the arts to provide healing for their clients. This concert will feature music related to “journeys” with the concert title deriving from the African American spiritual, "Let Us Cheer the Weary Traveler".
